Hemant, an advertising, and marketing veteran, leads the global marketing function playing an instrumental role in shaping and strengthening the HTC Global Services brand salience.

He is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and brings with him rich industry and branding experience from an exciting career in Marketing, Sales, and Distribution spanning over 25 years. From IT Services, Motion Pictures to Advertising and Life Sciences, he has guided several organizations transform their brand to remain relevant and competitive.

Prior to joining HTC, Hemant worked for companies like IGATE, Polaris, Viacom18, Mudra, Ogilvy, Lintas, and the ITC group. As the Global Head of Marketing at Polaris Software, he led the launch of their banking suite, Intellect, and as the Global Marketing Leader at IGATE, he played an integral role in the company’s endeavor to disrupt the IT Services space with its unique ‘iTOPS’ and ‘Outcome-based’ service model.

Hemant believes that it is not Big Budgets, but Big Ideas that help companies build strong brands.

During his advertising career, he partnered with the marketing leadership of IBM, Infosys, Compaq, Hutch, MRF, The Hindu, Reliance Industries, and many successful challenger brands. He is also credited for setting up the movie distribution for Studio 18 (now Viacom 18) in 36 countries, and as an entrepreneur in the health-tech space, he created the world’s first e-marketplace for pharmacies.
