Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality management activities within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on supplier performance, quality issue resolution, containment activities, quality reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure product quality and production continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate supplier quality processes and activities.
• Participate in quality review meetings and support issue resolution as needed.
• Drive resolution of supplier quality concerns through supplier communication and containment actions.
• Support quality rejection procedures, including concern review, issue tracking, and dispute resolution.
• Assist with supplier responsiveness and quality data accuracy.
• Administer quality confirmation processes for suppliers with recurring containment failures.
• Lead containment activities for supplier-related quality issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support quality improvement initiatives and performance targets.
• Provide early notification and support for supplier-related shipment concerns and production impacts.
• Assist with issue containment, tracking, and corrective action follow-up.
• Monitor production quality reports and communicate issues requiring management attention.
• Serve as a liaison between supplier quality teams and plant management.
• Support supplier preparation for quality reviews and assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in plant manufacturing environments
• Quality engineering or quality management experience
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with AIAG APQP methodologies
• Experience with PPAP processes
• Auditing experience
• Program management experience
