BACKGROUND

The food processing company was using a combination of SAP and a standalone system for managing logistics and transportation, which involved many manual processes. They were looking for an SAP partner to implement new modules, enhance the functionalities, and provide managed support services. HTC Global Services was selected to provide the SAP services based on its extensive functional and technical expertise.

CHALLENGES

The usage of a standalone system for managing logistics operations and the manual processes involved to create transport requirements imposed operational challenges in the supply chain. It also imposed:

• Poor visibility and inability to control the distribution process
• Complexities due to manual handling of high volume warehouse operations
