HTC NEVER charges security deposits in connection with recruiting or applying for employment and does not accept any amount of money, gifts, or anything of value from job seekers during the recruitment, application, and hiring process.

Recruitment / employment offer fraud has been on the increase, with internet scammers posting fraudulent job openings, or contacting jobseekers with fake job offers. These individuals sometimes even conduct fraudulent interviews to obtain personal information or money from applicants. Sometimes these scammers purport to be from, or recruiting for, HTC. Again, HTC will never seek money or anything of value from candidates. If you receive any "offer" requesting the payment or money or other item of value that purports to be from HTC, it is fraud or fake

Helpful Tips to Identify Recruitment Fraud and Fake Employment Offers

• HTC Global Services [HTC] never requests fees for any purpose during or after the hiring process. HTC will never request money for the opportunity to apply to work.
• The hiring process with HTC involves at least one interview (virtual or in-person). Please take note that HTC will not request an interview on any instant messaging, chat, or social media applications.
• The HTC recruitment team corresponds only through official email addresses with the domain “@htcinc.com”. While it is possible for a scammer to spoof a domain, if correspondence is coming from any other domain while purporting to be from HTC recruiting, it is fraud or fake.
• HTC's recruiting team does not request or require personal documents like bank account details, tax forms, or credit card information as part of the recruitment process.

Be alert about potential scams and protect your identity and sensitive information. If you have any reason to suspect that anyone purporting to be from HTC Global Services is not who they say they are, or otherwise suspect any falsification or impersonation, please reach out to helpdesk.recruitment@htcinc.com for verification and necessary action.
