Senior Data Engineer (GCP, Big Data, Data Warehousing)

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions, including infrastructure and pipelines, to support efficient data collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements
Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis
Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data applications for reliable workflows
Design and manage data platforms including data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures
Develop analytical tools, algorithms, and automation scripts to support data engineering activities
Monitor performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in data engineering
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Cloud Functions
Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Dataflow, or BigQuery
Experience designing and maintaining data warehouse solutions
Experience developing or integrating Artificial Intelligence and expert systems
Experience designing and working with APIs (RESTful or gRPC)
Bachelor’s Degree
