Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Overview / Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst analyzes business and information needs to design optimal system solutions aligned with organizational architecture. Working under minimal supervision, this role develops system solutions, recommends improvements to existing IT systems and processes, and supports overall system effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define project scope and objectives
  • Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes through new technology or enhanced use of existing systems
  • Translate business requirements into application requirements and collaborate with teams to ensure successful implementation
  • Engage client teams to explain moderately complex initiatives clearly and address concerns or hesitations
  • Estimate costs for system solutions and prepare project plans to support prioritization and IT resource allocation decisions
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system users and for ongoing operation, maintenance, and development
  • Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering background preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
