Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing IT Support Engineer to support plant operations by maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user technologies in a fast-paced production environment. This role works closely with plant teams, engineers, and IT support groups to ensure operational reliability, continuous improvement, and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Support a multi-shift manufacturing operation, including flexibility for days, nights, and weekends as needed
Provide technical support for plant applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user tools
Troubleshoot technical incidents and analyze system and process issues
Coordinate escalations and collaborate with business IT, plant owners, engineers, and support teams
Maintain, enhance, and integrate plant applications and hardware
Support Cisco network equipment and Windows/Linux physical and virtual servers
Support IIOT deployments using iOS and Android devices
Develop and maintain accurate support documentation
Follow standard support processes and assist with workload coordination across the IT support team
Partner with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Required Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in IT support or infrastructure support
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and customer support skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support all levels of operations and leadership
Willingness to learn manufacturing operations and adapt to new technologies

Cisco networking
Active Directory / ADFS
Virtual server support
Mac, iOS, and Android device support
Office 365 and SharePoint
PowerShell
Power BI
HTML
Basic scripting or automation concepts
Experience with Dell and HP hardware
Exposure to plant automation and manufacturing execution systems
