Job Title: Software Engineer – Full Stack (Senior)

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of critical global applications that impact the safety and well-being of employees worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will continue coding while also guiding and mentoring junior developers, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical authority for the development team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring high standards for code quality and system design.
Full-Stack Development: Develop both back-end and front-end components of applications, ensuring seamless integration across the technology stack.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and Design teams to ensure technical feasibility and to align the development with business needs.
Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on both technical skills and professional growth.
Agile Practices: Lead the team in Agile methodologies, particularly Extreme Programming (XP), including Pair Programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Cloud/DevOps: Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and ensure the long-term technical health of the product in cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform).
Security & Compliance: Adhere to best practices for data security, including compliance with encryption, anonymization, and PII/SPII data handling.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of IT experience, with 5-8+ years specifically in software engineering and full-stack development.
Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Cloud/Boot), Python, or C# for back-end development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, with a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenShift, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton).
Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Understanding of OAuth, EntraID authentication, and best practices in security.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with MongoDB Compass and NoSQL data modeling.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with DevOps concepts, UX principles, and modern software architecture.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
