Job Title: Software Engineer – Full Stack (Senior)

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of critical global applications that impact the safety and well-being of employees worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will continue coding while also guiding and mentoring junior developers, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical authority for the development team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring high standards for code quality and system design.
  • Full-Stack Development: Develop both back-end and front-end components of applications, ensuring seamless integration across the technology stack.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and Design teams to ensure technical feasibility and to align the development with business needs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on both technical skills and professional growth.
  • Agile Practices: Lead the team in Agile methodologies, particularly Extreme Programming (XP), including Pair Programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Cloud/DevOps: Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and ensure the long-term technical health of the product in cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Security & Compliance: Adhere to best practices for data security, including compliance with encryption, anonymization, and PII/SPII data handling.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with 5-8+ years specifically in software engineering and full-stack development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Cloud/Boot), Python, or C# for back-end development.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, with a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenShift, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton).
  • Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Understanding of OAuth, EntraID authentication, and best practices in security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB Compass and NoSQL data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with DevOps concepts, UX principles, and modern software architecture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
