Job Title: IT Project Manager (Procurement & Vendor Management)

Overview / Summary
An experienced Project Manager is needed to provide procurement and contract management support. This role ensures the acquisition of reliable, cost-efficient, and timely goods and services while adhering to procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. The position collaborates closely with Procurement, Legal, and stakeholders to maintain compliance and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, and implement IT-related contracts while supporting the Contract Manager Lead
  • Interface with personnel, management, external vendors, and contractors
  • Prepare solicitations (RFB, RFP, RFQ) and administer contracts through completion
  • Prepare RFIs and manage documentation, vendor demonstrations, and Q&A activities
  • Execute all steps of the procurement process, including meetings, document reviews, approvals, and coordination with legal and purchasing teams
  • Monitor financial aspects of contracts, including funding, burn rate, and expenditures
  • Support daily procurement operations, including supplier performance, contract renewals, scope changes, and dispute coordination
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained (digital and hard copies) for all contracts
  • Communicate contract processes, conditions, and details to employees
  • Maintain schedules, calendars, meeting agendas, notes, and follow-ups for the Contract Office
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of contract management experience
  • 2 years of experience in Information Technology administrative support
  • 4 years of experience with Microsoft Office Software
  • Fundamental knowledge of infrastructure concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks
