Job Title: Senior Product Experience (UX) Designer – Enterprise Products

Overview / Summary

We are seeking hands-on Product Experience Designers to support strategic Operations modernization workstreams. These resources will modernize internal experiences used by underwriters, call center representatives, agents, and agent team members, with a focus on complex workflows, legacy system pain points, and improved end-to-end service experiences.

Each Product Experience Designer will own a complex experience workstream from discovery through design execution. The role includes conducting research, creating user-centered designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business requirements into human-centered design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own complex experience workstreams from discovery through design execution.
  • Conduct stakeholder and user interviews.
  • Map current-state and future-state user journeys.
  • Synthesize research findings and analytics to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Define user scenarios, information architecture, and user flows.
  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability findings.
  • Partner with business analysts, product managers, developers, designers, and Experience Leads to translate business requirements into design solutions.
  • Present design rationale and educate partners on UX principles.
  • Balance business needs, user needs, technical constraints, accessibility, and design-system standards.
  • Move work forward with limited supervision while following internal design practices, training materials, and the native design system.
  • Learn business operations domains, including agent support, underwriting support, call center workflows, case/task management, and internal operational processes.
  • Use research and analytics to support continuous improvement.
  • Design AI-enabled workflows and utilize GenAI tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong product experience design, enterprise UX, and systems-thinking capabilities.
  • Experience owning complex experience workstreams from discovery through design execution.
  • Ability to conduct stakeholder and user interviews.
  • Experience with journey mapping, experience mapping, and complex workflow design.
  • Strong skills in research synthesis, affinity mapping, insight synthesis, hypothesis formulation, storytelling, and critical evaluation.
  • Experience creating information architecture, user flows, scenarios, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Proficiency with Figma, including design documentation.
  • Experience applying design systems and native components consistently.
  • Experience supporting user research and usability testing, including interviews, findings documentation, and iterative design.
  • Understanding of accessibility fundamentals.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear design direction.
  • Comfortable balancing business needs, user needs, technical constraints, accessibility, and design-system standards.
  • Comfortable using GenAI tools and designing AI-enabled workflows.
