SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Production Support Specialist

Overview / Summary

We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Production Support Specialist to provide end-to-end coordination and L1 production support across multiple business functions. This role will manage support workflows, incident resolution, reporting, integrations, identity and access activities, and training coordination in a fast-paced, multi-workstream environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, production support, incident management, IT project management, and stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for L1 support activities across the SAP S/4HANA production environment.
  • Manage end-to-end support workflows using JIRA, ServiceNow, and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM).
  • Manage tickets and backlogs, prioritize issues based on severity and business impact, monitor SLA compliance, and escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with appropriate root-cause context.
  • Build and maintain incident and performance dashboards and scorecards to identify trends, recurring issues, and key support metrics.
  • Support finance-related activities including month-end close, intercompany transactions, banking, accounting, treasury, and related processes.
  • Support SAP integration activities involving master data management, purchasing and supplier interfaces, API/middleware connections, and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) processes.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Identity and Access Governance activities, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications.
  • Support SAP training and certification tracking.
  • Coordinate job aid availability and training sessions across multiple workstreams.
  • Develop user-readiness reporting, dashboards, and scorecards to track certification completion and training effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while meeting tight timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA.
  • 10+ years of experience leading end-to-end IT project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects on time and within scope.
  • At least one full-lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
  • Experience with L1/production support and incident management.
  • Experience using SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), ServiceNow, and JIRA for ticketing, workflow, and issue tracking.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and scorecards for project status, incident metrics, and KPI tracking.
  • Proficiency in accounting, treasury, banking, master data management, purchasing and supplier integrations, API/interface management, ASN, and middleware platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP, API, JIRA, and change management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Activate methodology or project management certification.
  • SAP certification(s) in Security, GRC, FICO, S/4HANA, or related modules.
  • Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with automotive or battery manufacturing operations.
  • Cloud background with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud ALM.
