We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in the Personal Lines Insurance domain to support business and technology initiatives across insurance platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of personal lines products and processes and will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions. In this role, you will evaluate and document business needs related to policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, and rating processes while ensuring alignment with insurance lifecycle activities such as new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements. You will support functional analysis and testing by validating API responses, reviewing data accuracy, and assisting in system enhancements or configuration updates. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvements across personal lines workflows, preparing detailed documentation including requirement specifications and process flows, and collaborating with development, quality assurance, product teams, and business users to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and maintaining quality standards across deliverables will be a key part of this role.

Required Skill

  • Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Basic technical knowledge of JSON for reading and interpreting API payloads, Postman for API testing and validation, and SQL for writing select queries, joins, and filters to support data validation and analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving capability, and the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Desired Skill

  • Experience supporting system configuration or enhancement initiatives within insurance platforms and exposure to cross functional collaboration with development and QA teams.
  • Knowledge of data validation techniques and testing processes within enterprise systems will be beneficial.
  • Experience documenting business processes and creating requirement artifacts such as process flows and test documentation will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant certification in Business Analysis or Insurance domain practices will be considered beneficial.

Candidates with a passion for the insurance domain and a strong interest in driving business and technology collaboration are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
