Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Engineer

Overview / Summary

A Web/Internet Engineer – Consultant is needed to support and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across the organization. This role will focus on designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise business solutions while supporting day-to-day operations in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable business solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform technologies.
Build and maintain model-driven and canvas applications, including forms, dashboards, views, and business process flows.
Customize and extend Dynamics 365 applications to support business requirements.
Develop C# plugins, custom workflows, and JavaScript-based form scripting.
Architect and manage Dataverse data models, entities, relationships, and data structures.
Design and implement automation solutions using Power Automate.
Integrate Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions with external systems including Azure Functions, REST APIs, SharePoint, SQL, ERP/CRM systems, and third-party services.
Support data migrations, system integrations, and API development.
Configure and enforce security models, role-based access, and compliance standards.
Manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes including deployments, patching, and environment promotion.
Develop and deploy custom solution packages and manage environment configurations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams.
Support production environments, issue resolution, and post-go-live enhancements.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
Maintain technical documentation including architecture, configurations, procedures, and support guides.
Support Microsoft 365 integrations and data governance initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional solution design and enterprise architecture efforts.
Ensure adherence to IT governance, security policies, and development standards.
Support compliance with organizational security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
5+ years of experience with workflow design and implementation.
5+ years of experience with PowerApps.
5+ years of experience with MS SQL.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory/AAD.
5+ years of experience with PowerShell.
5+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, and RSS.
5+ years of experience with Power BI.
5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-level systems architectures.
Experience building and deploying dynamic packages.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers, and stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of information technology best practices, operations, and organizational processes.
Ability to align technical systems with organizational goals and objectives.
Must currently reside in SC, NC, or GA.
Must be available for onsite presence on the start date, monthly project meetings, and project milestones as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS.
