This opportunity is ideal for an experienced IT Project Manager who enjoys managing multiple initiatives, bringing structure to complex projects, partnering with technical and business teams, and leading projects through the full lifecycle—from technology selection and contracting through implementation, migration, and retirement of legacy solutions.
Candidates with experience supporting financial services, mortgage servicing or production, accounting, lending, or other regulated financial environments will be especially well aligned to the current project portfolio.
Location: Columbia, South Carolina / Work Arrangement: Fully onsite Mon-Fri
The Senior IT Project Manager will lead several concurrent enterprise initiatives involving technology selection, acquisition, implementation, migration, process improvement, and legacy application retirement.
The current project portfolio includes technology supporting:
Mortgage servicing and mortgage production
Development and compliance monitoring
Contract administration
Agency business continuity
Organizational and facility planning initiatives
The Project Manager will provide end-to-end leadership across these efforts, partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, executives, and project sponsors to keep scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables aligned.
You are a seasoned IT Project Manager who can step into complex initiatives and quickly establish structure, accountability, and forward momentum.
You have successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously and can demonstrate hands-on ownership of scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, change, executive reporting, and project documentation.
You understand how to determine when Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid delivery model is most appropriate rather than approaching every project with the same methodology.
The strongest candidates will also bring experience in financial services, mortgage technology, lending, accounting, or another regulated financial environment, along with a strong understanding of process improvement and business operations. Experience leading technology implementations involving mortgage servicing or production platforms would be particularly relevant.
