THE CHALLENGE
In this day and age, medical imaging is an extremely important element as it has changed the face of the healthcare industry. Also, public healthcare organizations must deal with large amounts of paperwork in various formats with large volumes of claims that needed to be processed for their patients. For all these, the department required 25 data entry operators to process these claims.
The initial requirement of our client was to speed up the forms that were processed, reducing manual data entry.
THE SOLUTION
Our team suggested a revamped application that would address the pain points. Public sector organizations must rely heavily on big volumes of documents with diverse formats and the intelligent Document Processing (iDP) platform is a boon to them. iDP is a cloud-based platform that leverages the power of AI and smart automation to process all document types efficiently.
After implementation, iDP improved the productivity of downstream applications while increasing the processing speed manifold. This, in turn, increased the operator throughput, substantially reducing the operator and QC workloads.
