Streamlined A Manufacturer's Time Card And Payroll Processing With Oracle

Manufacturing

CLIENT

The client is a leading US based manufacturer of hydraulic systems for industrial and automotive applications.

CHALLENGES

The manufacturer was using a 25 years old custom developed, standalone TimeCard application for managing their employees’ time cards. As this application was unable to transfer time card information to General Ledger (GL) it was manually entered to generate time card journals. Human resources (HR) and payroll departments did not have standardized corporate processes for managing time and attendance and therefore could not provide the required inputs to their Oracle Payroll system. The lack of time clock facility inhibited tracking and paying out employee vacation and sick leave.

To streamline time card, payroll processing, and improve compliance, the manufacturer decided to partner with HTC Global Services.
